GPS For Trucks

The fourth released (eighth overall) song from the second Teargarden by Kaleidyscope EP The Solstice Bare. Lyrics: Farther downtown along the range Where the wise ones kept at bay Those that wished secrets stayed as secrets For morning minds I tell myself it’s where I belong Among the waves and the once now gone With my ancestors drums Here comes the morning man He’s gonna tell you where you stand Gonna try to undertake what’s falling He’s calling you Here comes the morning man He’s here and yes he can Penetrate the veils that you’re holding He’s unfolding you Sha-la-la-la-la Oh… Sha-la-la-la-la Oh… Sha-la-la-la Sha-la-la-la-la This side of the solstice bare Where autumn shows its truthful air Is when I’m vowed to empty scare my precious stars Of evening prayers I remind myself it’s who you are An orphan soul from a distant star Listening for those bells Here comes the morning man He’s here and yes he can Penetrate the veils that you’re holding He’s unfolding you Here comes the morning man He’s gonna tell you where you stand Gonna try to undertake what’s falling He’s calling you You and I shine bright I don’t need anyone but you Our lives to me are art Until a morning tears apart And leaves what’s on my mind Here comes the morning man Here comes the morning man Here comes the morning man He’s watching, he’s watching Sha-la-la-la-la Here comes the morning man He’s watching Sha-la-la-la-la Here comes the morning man He’s watching, he’s watching Sha-la-la-la-la Sha-la-la

If you don’t like this song, you don’t have a soul.

i just realized, all these new songs are really simple,
whereas classic SP was a studio band and very
complex and musical.

… WTF is billy doing? Where is the old and fcking perfect SP?

By CalabazaVacia on February 11th, 2012 at 11:07 pm

I have been listening to them since GISH came out and there isn’t a single album that I don’t like. This album sounds great to me!

one of the only good songs on tear garden but this one is really good good job!

I think i know a certain cartoon character who could add to this song, someone who’s also somewhat smashing…
Nigel Thornberry! yes, i think it’s time Nigel sang along to a good song for a change!

oh no a band actually changed their music progressivly iand kept the same love for making music, OH BLASPHEMY 0/10*sarcasm*

I didn’t know it was Mark Tulin playing base on The Smashing Pumpkins “Tom Tom.” R.I.P. Mark Tulin (November 21, 1948 – February 26, 2011).

By FreakinKoolMedia on February 12th, 2012 at 6:20 am

@nicholsjoshua15 well nicole and jeff aren’t on this track, mark tulin is however and he does a hell of a job

The morning man is the morning star; Lucifer is coming. Look at the album art and to some it will seem *quite* Masonic. Not that Masons are evil. And not that Lucifer is evil. After all, Lucifer is merely an angel led astray.

By wobbygongman on February 12th, 2012 at 7:47 am

the only issues I have with the new songs are the way his voice is mixed

this song has really grown on me.
it has a very 90s feel to it, but not a 90s SP feel. If they had released this song in 98 on Adore it would have been on the radio constantly.

Fuck SP fans. It’s been 15 years since I listen to SP and the fans always cried about something. Each album they cried about how awsome they were back in the days… If you listen the SP only for today and bullet : FUCK YOU

such

this song is nothing like his old stuff, and it doesn’t matter AT ALL! suck a brilliant song.

where are the fucking nineties ???

Billy Corgan …my Morning Man!

This is my favourite song now. :D I think it’s absolutely awesome.
