Forgot Garmin Nuvi 360 GPS PIN, How can I reset it?
I recently received a Garmin Nuvi 360 as a present from my friend. He gave it to me because maybe I could do something about the pin he had forgotten.
I don’t know what to do. How can I find the PIN or reset it?

The problem that you’re experiencing is a security feature called Garmin Lock. It’s found in most Garmin electronic devices to deter theft. Outside of remembering the PIN, you have limited options. If your friend remembers where he/she set as the ‘secure location,’ you can take the receiver there and it will unlock. This, however is a temporary fix and the next time you turn it on outside of the security location, it will lock again.
If you forget the PIN and the secure location, you must send your Nuvi to Garmin to get unlocked.
