thanks for the vid. just baught one for me and my girlfiriend for geocaching as our first unit, sick of using her iphone!
question how long does can you use it on 2 AA battery?
Thanks for a great video, it is a big help. I just purchased my etrex H, I need to get in my kayak and give it a try. Thanks again.
excellent video. i’m just getting into geocaching and was curious about what the etrex h had to offer… and thanks to this vid i’ve just ordered on amazon. thanks alot.
thankyou so much for this vid, it really helps. mate got it for walking the pennine way but to be honest its not what we were looking for. The only one critisum about this vid is that you had the mic to close to you and you can here your self sollowing which made me cringe a little and anoying. I know its difficult to get close up shots so please don’t be offeneded when I say this just giving you tips just in case you hadn’t noticed.
@jordancoles kinda
A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook where the geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it with their established code name. Larger containers such as plastic storage containersor ammo boxes can also contain items for trading,. Geocaching is often described as a “game of high-tech hide and seek,”
Is geocaching sort of like letterboxing? I’m considering buying one of these do to letterboxing on Dartmoor.
thanks a lot for this man… i bought this 3 days ago and went to the woods thinking i could just skim the book and get it to work. Well I ended up thinking you could only track where you have gone and not enter a destination point, your video cleared that up!
